Jergens Inc., is an essential business and we are currently operational.  As a result of the state of OHIO Stay at Home order, we are making every effort to safeguard our employees and follow executive orders as an essential business.  Our Customer Service department is open during normal business hours while working remotely to keep you running.

Voicemails are being forwarded directly to email and will be checked regularly.   In addition, our web site has a CHAT line you can acccess.

Jergens Inc., has been closely monitoring the advice and counsel of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) relative to COVID-19. This outbreak is unprecedented and we are following the state of Ohio’s leadership in doing all we can to minimize the spread of the virus.

The following items are being addresses by our organization to reduce our employees and customers risks:

Current Operations
o   Jergens will examine our current production work schedule to spread employees across shifts to include weekends. This will minimize contact and provide adequate social distancing in the workplace.

o   Working remotely – those employees that can work remotely are encouraged to do so effective immediately. By reducing the number of employees within the facility we can minimize risks.

o   All travel will cease unless critical for the business.

o   Outside visitors will not be invited or meeting accepted until further notice. If visitors are critical to the business a waiver must be filled out by visitors.

Supply Chain

o   Jergens is monitoring the supply chain from raw material to components sourced primarily domestically.


We will continue to work together with our State and Federal officials to do all we can to minimize risk of the virus spreading within our plant and office environments.

This is a rapidly changing situation and we plan on adjusting and communicating our plans to our stakeholders accordingly.
